Vera Wang Group has named Veronique Gabai-Pinsky as its new president.  

Gabai-Pinsky has already been working with the company as a strategist, since leaving her role at The Estee Lauder Companies in October 2014.

Gabai-Pinsky is a 25-year veteran of the beauty industry. She recently served as president of Aramis & deisgner fragrances at The Estee Lauder Companies, while also leading its BeautyBank and IdeaBank divisions, before leaving in October 2014.  

Vera Wang – the designer herself – has been leading the company since the company’s former president, Mario Grauso, left in 2013. Wang told WWD that she “seriously went after” Gabai-Pinsky, and “it’s been a long courtship.”
